We leave early for Chinchero, where you learn about the local weaving tradition at an interpretation center. Next comes Moray, the Inca agricultural laboratory, and the Maras Salt Mines, with nearly 3,000 salt pools.

We have lunch at a buffet in Urubamba and visit Ollantaytambo, the only town that keeps its original Inca layout, and Pisac, known for its terraces and carved stone buildings.
